Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET) in Scottsdale

chiropractor adjusting patientOur bodies remember events that have happened to them, whether physical or emotional. The stress generated by these events can be traced, in many cases, to current physical problems. That trauma is stored in the body, creating an imbalance.

Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET) is a safe, effective and natural system that looks at and resolves physical issues caused by our body’s stress reaction to a past emotion. Dr. Carla received her certification in NET in 2017 after hundreds of hours of additional training.

Combining Multiple Healing Approaches

NET integrates several different healing systems—chiropractic care, the meridian/emotion system of Eastern medicine, and positive psychology. NET addresses the biophysical aspects of a condition or stressor. NET is useful in treating disorders such as chronic pain, neuromuscular complaints and digestive disorders. It has also been shown to remove the physical reaction of conditions such as PTSD, ADHD and Anxiety.

What to Expect

Your body has certain “vital points” related to each organ. We use Applied Kinesiology (AK) to assess each vital point for weakness. Once we find that weakness, we locate the spinal level correlating to that organ. Dr. Carla makes a gentle correction to the spine, releasing the body’s reaction to whatever thought is associated with that weakness.

The scientific methodology for NET has been studied and shown through functional MRI testing and other means to be an effective way to remove the emotional component from a physical condition or symptom, allowing the body to heal itself. There’s also some anecdotal evidence suggesting it may help with attention and focus.

Dr. Carla has also used B.E.S.T. and NET to treat patients with fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue and body dysmorphia with good results.
