National Heart Health Month
February is known for Valentine’s Day and it’s also National Heart Health Month. While we are celebrating those we love with hearts and flowers, let’s also think about how much love we give to our physical heart. This vital organ is our first organ and begins beating around 3 weeks in utero. From that moment, Our heart does not rest at all. Even when you are sleeping, it is still functioning. It does not get any day off from its work. It pumps the blood which carries oxygen and nutrients to every part of our body. Keeping up with your regular self care – nutritious eating, regular exercise and stress reduction – is the best thing you can do to care for your heart.
